WV DAY: Babydog Sees Shadow, Six More Years of Bad Infrastructure

LEWISBURG — Happy West Virginia Day, and you know what that means! Governor Jim Justice is looking for any opportunity to get out of paying a dog sitter. Whether it’s tallying up death tolls for the state with the worst response to COVID-19, or just some dumb shit that Justice is required to attend for smart elementary school kids (nerds), Governor Justice is sure to create an elaborate ruse which allows Babydog to take as much of the focus away from himself as possible.

This year, on West Virginia Day, Babydog saw her shadow! That means six more years of bad infrastructure. The Department of Transportation clarified that drivers will still be required to renew their yearly safety inspection stickers, despite the condition of roads being the primary cause of vehicles being deemed unsafe.

So let’s celebrate West Virginia by ignoring our strong historical ties to worker’s rights and seceding from the Confederacy! Let’s continue to elect some of the most racist and privileged, generational coal barons who have never faced a similar burden as an average West Virginian. The same elected officials who will fight for good coal mining jobs, but not at the expense of their multimillion dollar bonuses!

Happy West Virginia Day, everyone! Now get out there and do the work that your elected officials never have and never will! But you bet your sweet ass we got this hard hat properly sized for this photo op — say cheese!
