Special Metals Rebrands as "So-So Metals" After Losing Skilled Workers

HUNTINGTON — Special Metals workers have been on strike for over three months, and in light of losing 450 skilled workers, the company has decided to rebrand as “So-So Metals”.

Russell Thomas, a striking steelworker, told Ramp reporters, “I don’t know how much longer I’m gonna have to strike in this 70 degree holiday weather. [laughs] Look, the weather has been on our side, that’s for sure. But it looks like the temperatures are really starting to dip this week. Oh, you asked how my Christmas was? It was ass. My Christmas sucked ass.”

Steelworkers have been striking for 96 days, and the owner of the company’s company’s company, Warren Buffet, said that he would forward an email to some guy who would do something or other.

The striking steelworkers — whose children no longer believe in Santa Claus because they had to have a long and hard conversation — are not backing down. The kids also learned about self-worth and what it means to fight for what is right, which includes fair healthcare benefits, wages, and a safe working environment.

If you feel the need to help out, join the Facebook group here, and express the desire to give them money immediately. They’re fucking people, and workers deserve whatever they’re collectively asking for.
