HUNTINGTON — “It was amazing. First College Cup win in the history of the University. Overtime!!” is what one Roosters patron would have said, had the Hooters knock-off not made Marshall fans leave the premises during the climax of the Championship on Sunday night.
Several angry customers and fans had hoped that they could deal with the piss poor service, food, and atmosphere in exchange for watching the biggest game the region has ever seen, but food service workers making $2.13 an hour had other plans.
We spoke with the annoyed bartender, Bailey Shank, who told us, “I was just trying to get home and watch Grey’s Anatomy. Some ugly, creepy asshole had already tipped me fifty dollars twice, so I assumed closing with 91 minutes left in the game wasn’t that big of a deal.”
