New WV Toll Policy Effective Jan. 1, 2022, Must Show Proof of Vaccination

W. Va. — Tolls are set to increase to $4.25 on the first day of 2022, which is not surprising. However, West Virginia Parkways Authorities announced that all toll booths will now require drivers to show proof of vaccination in order to proceed.

This announcement is being met with great backlash among conservatives, who are convinced that being forced to show any sort of identification for any reason at all is trampling on their god-given rights, and then what’s next? Nazi Germany? Democrats haven’t said shit about it because they are all cowardly pushovers who welcome and support government overreach in times when they cannot properly legislate rational solutions.

Ramp Reporters spoke with Parkway Authorities board member Jason White, who told us that the toll stations are also being renovated. “The toll booths will still take cash, as always. And while we do not have the technology to accept cards yet, we will be able to scan your vaccination cards for efficiency and to ensure you’re not spreading the deadly virus across county lines. And! Starting on the first of the year, I am happy to announce that we will also be accepting Bitcoin and pints of AB Blood as payment. So look out for that in the New Year!”
