Local Man’s Spotify Wrapped Just 'Whitehouse Road'

Updated: Dec 20, 2021

WEST BY GOD — Despite being from Kentucky, Tyler Childers is basically ours. From his humble beginnings at Black Sheep Burritos and Brews to international stardom, yep, you could say we did a pretty good job. It’s all obvious according to one local man’s Spotify Wrapped that consists of basically just “Whitehouse Road”.

“It’s a banger,” the man with the Spotify Wrapped in question, Dan Ingram said, “you just don’t hear country music like this anymore. It’s raw. It’s bad ass too when he talks about drugs. You just don’t hear country music about drugs anymore. And personally, I love ‘em! Yeah, I like to sit back in the evenings and smoke a big dooby. You guys smoke?” We said no, and we were already pretty ripped off of a couple of those Thrax Delta-8 Star Gummies. Get yours now at: https://www.thraxcbd.com

Ingram posted a screenshot, tagging Tyler Childers on his Instagram story, hoping that the musician sits around sifting through the thousands of daily social media mentions, yearning to have a personal interaction with a stranger. Although Childers did not reach out or view the story, a couple of Ingram’s followers allegedly responded with fire emojis.

Disheartened by not establishing a blossoming, lifelong friendship — especially being in the top 0.05% of Childers’ listeners — Ingram allegedly started googling personal facts about Childers and studying the musician through various live performances and interviews.

Ingram took to Childers’ direct messages to air his grievances, writing:

Dear Tim,

I posted, but you still ain’t responded.

On my Insta, my Twitter, and my LinkedIn at the bottom,

I tagged you two times back in autumn, you must not-a saw ‘em,

There was probably a problem with the servers or somethin’

Sometimes I get shadowbanned because I forget to confirm my email,

Anyways, I hope you get this man, hit me back,

Just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan,

This is Dan

After a couple days without response, Ingram contacted The Ramp to inquire about Childers’ whereabouts. “I went through all that trouble. I listened to ‘Whitehouse Road’ on repeat all year. Sometimes I’d even listen to ‘Feathered Indians’. But after all that… and posting… and tagging… nothing? He gives me fucking nothing? I’m gonna show him a coolin’ board.”

Ooooookaaaaay. So we informed the authorities about Ingram’s behavior and thinly veiled threats, and they told us they put him on some sort of list. Good enough for us! Ingram remains Childers’ number one saltiest fan, but says he’s “probably going to start listening to Jason Isbell or someone like that.”
