WINFIELD — A boil water advisory has been issued for people living in Putnam and Kanawha counties following an incident at the Kool-Aid factory, which lead to an extraordinary amount of Kool-Aid mix scoops being dumped into the Kanawha River.
The powdery product, scientifically identified as Sharkleberry Fin, is affecting many residents’ drinking water with the refreshingly sweet taste of strawberry, banana and orange. Ramp reporters spoke with South Charleston resident, Karissa Dalton, who said, “Oh yeah!”
An alleged attempt to cover up the disaster was made by local and state officials who have reportedly taken campaign funds from Big Kool-Aid lobbyists. While specific details surrounding the accident are still unknown, many residents have complained that their water is pink, mouthwatering, and just in time for Summer.
