LOS ANGELES — The newest season of Dancing With The Stars introduces a new host this season. West Virginia native, Jesco White, also known as “The Dancing Outlaw”, is the fresh face who will be tap-dancing on the stage and providing the quirky banter with guests that fans of the show have come to know and love. White allegedly beat the ever-living shit out of Thomas Raymond Bergeron for the job.
As the season premiere opened, Jennifer Lawrence walked out and White asked, “who are you again?” which got a big laugh from the studio audience. The laughs soon turned into an uncomfortable silence after it was clear that White really had no idea who the Academy Award winning actress was.
The Dancing Outlaw, clearly zooted beyond belief, was sloppily click-clacking and stomping around the stage, sometimes during The Stars’ routines. He got some sympathy laughs, but it was more so detrimental to the show’s quality.
Jesco White told Ramp reporters, “It’s a wonder all these folks will come out and see all these little ol’ boys and girls rompin’ around stage like that. Entertainment? You ever see a pack of mice take down a polecat? That’s entertainment.”
We asked White how he enjoyed hosting the show and he answered, “you’re making another TV show about me?” We clarified our question and asked, “you’re talking about them Jackass boys ain't you?” Again, we asked about Dancing With The Stars and White said, “the cosmos is within us. We's made of star-stuff. We's a way for the universe to know itself.”
